Right now the project is in a pre pre-production stage. The idea for the film started back in early summer 2013, and script development begun around late Oct, early Nov. 2013.
The idea behind this animated film is to explain how Sonic
became the cool, confident, and speedy hedgehog we all know today! Story takes
place before the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 1. And that’s pretty much all
that we reveal about the plot. Sonic and other Sonic characters and other properties are copyrighted and own by Sega, Shy Art Studio is not affiliated with Sega. This is a non-profit fan film.
